There are 2 words that can describe the stark contrast between 2 worlds. For the world of the elite media and governing class the word has to be “secrecy.” For the Ron Paul world of personal freedom and equality the word seems to be “transparency.”
Up until now our world has been one of limited knowledge. The people in charge only tell us what they deem we “need to know.” From polls, to news, to government.
Presidential polls show us what they want us to know; That their appointed candidates are fairing well, while the anti establishment candidates are less than a blip on the radar. What do the reported poll results not tell us? EVERYTHING. Sure we can try to find the fine print and see how their scientific random parameters were set up, but most of us no longer believe that, in itself, brings legitimacy. We are not told who is polled most often. We are not told the script for the poll. We are not told what candidates names may or may not be included or excluded as options. My point is, poll’s are BS. Poll’s are what men like Frank Luntz want them to be.
Main stream Media news tells us the news as they want us to see it. If we pay attention, we indeed end up living in a reality that they hand to us. Living based on truths that they hand down to us.
Government is the worst offender. There isn’t much more that needs to be said here. To understand this watch how candidates like Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney laugh when a candidate like Ron Paul decides to talk about government honestly and openly.
Which brings me to my point. Ron Paul is living in an alternate reality from the reality these other entities have created. The craziest thing is that it’s actually the GENUINE reality. It isn’t based on mirrors and distractions. It is based on looking at the world and events for what they are, and using history and those experiences to direct us in the future. What a concept, a reality based on reality, rather than falsely concocted divisive thoughts that trickle down from the ones who are the most hungry for power.

Amen to that. I’m still reeling from my discovery of the good doctor; I had no idea people like him still existed in the government. Ron Paul supporters have an uphill battle, and we know it – from the media and polls out-and-out ignoring him to people being completely misinformed. (I’ve seen people say he’s a racist that wants to get rid of public schools. I wish I was joking.)
Thanks for the article, Matt – I can only hope more people read it.
